German Economy: Zero growth for 2019 final quarter

Official data shows that Germany’s economy had zero growth in the final quarter of 2019.
The federal statistics authority said gross domestic product in the October-December quarter remained unchanged from the previous quarter. Figures also show that Germany had an annual growth rate of point-six percent last year. That’s the worst annual performance Europe’s largest economy has had since 2013. Officials say the slowdown is due to decline in exports. Britain’s departure from the European Union and the China-US trade war are contributed too.
