A new report says the United Kingdom has been complicit in the Saudi-led blockade of Yemen, an embargo that the UN has described as unlawful.

An investigation by “Declassified UK” website, which monitors the British military influence around the world, has found evidence of UK marine support for the Saudi-led coalition. It suggests that the coalition received British training on naval tactics that have been used to blockade the war-torn country. The report reveals that the Royal Navy started to instruct Saudi and UAE forces in March 2016. The training sessions are reportedly still underway in various courses. The report comes as Britain says it will resume selling arms to Saudi Arabia. Arms trade campaigners have condemned the decision as disgraceful and have vowed to launch a legal challenge.
