FM Zarif: U.S. bullies countries to violate Iran Nuclear Deal

PressTV 13 views
Iran’s foreign minister has denounced the US for pushing the remaining signatories to the 2015 nuclear deal to violate a UN Security Council resolution that endorsed the accord.

Mohammad Javad Zarif said the US has QUOTE the dishonor of being the first in the UN history to punish law-abiding countries for NOT violating the resolution. He added that Washington is also bullying the other sides to violate the nuclear agreement known as the JCPOA. The top diplomat said he will bring forward the issue at a UN video conference session on Tuesday. The US withdrew from the JCPOA in 2018. It has since exerted pressure on the remaining parties to follow suit. But they say saving the deal is important for preserving regional stability.
